Theo Tyrell
Theo Tyrell was Lord of Highgarden, Lord Paramount of the Mander, and Warden of the South during the early years of Aegon I Targaryen's reign. He inherited the lordship in the midst of the war against Dorne, and once peace was signed he spent his rule shoring up his house's hold on Highgarden against other families who sought to claim it.
Chapter 1
A lordship inherited in war
From 5 ACBooks only
Theo Tyrell became Lord of Highgarden in the year 5 after the Conquest, when his father, Harlen Tyrell, died fighting in the First Dornish War. Reluctant to keep fighting a war that had already cost him his father, he was nonetheless drawn into the conflict when the fighting spread toward the Red Mountains on the border with Dorne.
The war ended with a peace treaty between the Targaryens and Dorne, freeing Theo from a struggle he had entered by inheritance rather than by choice.
Chapter 2
The keeper of Highgarden

With peace secured, Theo turned his rule toward tightening his house's grip on Highgarden. He called together a council of septons and maesters to examine the claims other houses had raised over the castle, and dismissed every one of them.
