On this tab

Janyce Hunter is the wife of Edwyn Frey, a member of the sprawling House Frey seated at the Twins. She is the mother of a daughter, Walda, born of that marriage.

Rumors About Walda

According to Merrett Frey, it is common knowledge at the Twins that Janyce slept with her brother-in-law, Black Walder. The gossip runs freely enough among the Freys to cast doubt on whose daughter Walda truly is: some take her for Edwyn's, her husband, others for Black Walder's.
