Wedding of Aegon III and Jaehaera Targaryen
boda de Aegon III y Jaehaera Targaryen
The wedding of Aegon III and Jaehaera Targaryen joined the two Targaryen children who stood for the rival branches of the Dance of the Dragons, held in King's Landing in 131 AC.
The marriage took place alongside the new king's coronation, in days marked by the arrival of the armies that had fought the war and by a court still unsure whether the peace would hold.

With the war ended, lords and ladies from across the realm gathered in King's Landing for the wedding meant to seal peace between the two branches of House Targaryen.
On the seventh day of the seventh moon of 131 AC, the High Septon wed Aegon to Jaehaera Targaryen atop Visenya's Hill. Later that same day the boy king was crowned in the Red Keep, while Lord Cregan Stark and his northern army held an unsettled city in check.
