House Wynch of Iron Holt

Among the guests gathered at the Greyjoy stronghold were members of this house, present on the evening when the lord of Pyke told his kin of his intent to launch a military campaign against the northern lands.

When a new claimant to the seat of salt and rock sets foot again on the Iron Islands, it is this house's lord who moves first to offer his loyalty, ahead of every other captain. The gesture does not go unrewarded: as thanks, he is granted half the holdings of a rival family, enlarging the Wynch domain at another house's expense.
