Veron Greyjoy was the brother of Lord Dalton Greyjoy, ruler of the Iron Islands. Little is remembered of him beyond a single division of spoils: when Dalton conquered Fair Isle and Fairmarket, Veron was given one of Lord Farman's daughters.

Conquest of Faircastle

When Lord Dalton Greyjoy took Fair Isle and Fairmarket, he claimed the four daughters of Lord Farman as salt wives, an ironborn custom marking dominion over the conquered. A fifth daughter remained, one Dalton judged too much of a homebody for that fate, and she was given instead to his brother Veron.
