Ser Rymond Arryn was a knight of the Vale, younger brother of Lord Darnold Arryn, Lord of the Eyrie during the reign of Jaehaerys I Targaryen.

Father of Rodrik Arryn and of at least one daughter, his name became tied to a pursuit of wildlings in the Mountains of the Moon that ended up shaping the fate of the house.

Rymond Arryn was the younger brother of Lord Darnold Arryn, who ruled the Eyrie during the reign of Jaehaerys I Targaryen. He had a son, Rodrik, and also a daughter, though nothing beyond her existence is recorded.

In 54 AC, the two brothers rode out after a band of wildlings roaming the Mountains of the Moon. The pursuit ended badly: neither Lord Darnold nor Ser Rymond returned alive. The Eyrie then passed to Rodrik, Rymond's son, who was only ten years old at the time.
