Ronnel Arryn
Not to be confused with Ronnel Arryn (King).
Ronnel Arryn was the youngest son of Jasper Arryn, Lord of the Eyrie. His brother Jon named him guardian of the Gates of the Moon, the stronghold that watches over the mountain road into the Vale, and with a woman of House Belmore he had a son, Elbert Arryn.

Ronnel Arryn was the youngest of the sons of Jasper Arryn, Lord of the Eyrie. He married a woman of House Belmore, and together they had a son, Elbert Arryn.
Chapter 2
The guardian of the Gates of the Moon
Books only
When his brother Jon became Lord of the Eyrie, he put Ronnel in charge of the Gates of the Moon. Ronnel died of a stomach ailment at almost the same time his son Elbert was born.
