House Willum
Casa Willum
House Willum is a minor house of the Reach, sworn to House Tyrell, whose arms cross three silver longswords on a black field beneath a dragonbone skeleton on a white chief.
Its place in the story comes from the War of the Five Kings, in which it served, one after another, three different claimants to King's Landing.
Chapter 1
No seat, and a doubtful source
Books only
No known record gives the house a seat of its own. Its coat of arms — three silver longswords on sable, with a white chief bearing a dragonbone skeleton — comes from sources treated as semi-canonical rather than the novels themselves.
Like many minor houses of the region, it answers to the Tyrells.
Chapter 2
Three kings in one war
Books only
The house declares for Renly Baratheon as soon as he crowns himself king of the Seven Kingdoms. Once Renly is dead, its men fall in with Stannis Baratheon: Josua and his brother fight under his banner at the Battle of the Blackwater.
Defeat leaves them prisoners, and out of that captivity comes a third oath, this time to King Joffrey I.
