House Buckwell of the Antlers is a noble house of the Crownlands, sworn to House Baratheon of King's Landing, seated at the castle of the Antlers. Its arms show a rack of golden antlers on a field of blue vair, under the words Pride and Purpose.
One of its lords stood among the few nobles who kept their support for King Maegor I Targaryen as his nephew Jaehaerys I advanced against him.

Jaehaerys I TargaryenThe lord of the Antlers was one of the few nobles who remained loyal to King Maegor I Targaryen as his reign neared its end, against the advance of his nephew Jaehaerys I Targaryen, already proclaimed king.
He was present at the last gathering Maegor called in King's Landing, where the king sought to rally the lords who still stood behind him to plan an armed response. But only a handful of great names answered the call, and that absence drained what will to fight remained.
