Argella Baratheon

Argella Baratheon belonged to a little-known branch of House Baratheon, documented only in material produced for the television series: she was one of fifteen children born to William Baratheon and Martyna Mullendore.

Her existence is known from an in-universe genealogical document made for the production, where her name appears alongside her siblings' in a section devoted to House Umber.

Chapter 1

One daughter among fifteen siblings

Show only

Argella was born into the large family of William Baratheon and Martyna Mullendore, who besides her had William, Jon, Martyn, Orys, Theodor, Mace, Tommax, Brune, Bryte, Gude, Lex, Lorax, Wineiri, and Miriam.

Nothing else survives about her life beyond her place in that genealogy: no age, no fate, not a single scene naming her apart from her siblings.

Chapter 2

A name absent from the chronicles

Show only

In A Song of Ice and Fire, George R. R. Martin's novel series, no character named Argella Baratheon exists: her entire existence belongs to the television series' supplementary material.

The same document that records her siblings places her, without explanation, in the section reserved for House Umber rather than the one for House Baratheon.
