Floris Baratheon

Floris was born in 118 AC at Storm's End, the third daughter of Lord Borros Baratheon and Lady Elenda Caron. She had two older sisters, Cassandra and Maris, and a younger one, Ellyn; together they would become known as the Four Storms.

In 130 AC, as the Dance of the Dragons drew to its close, Borros struck a bargain with the dowager queen Alicent Hightower over his daughters' futures: the eldest was betrothed to Aegon II Targaryen, and Floris to Lord Larys Strong.

Borros died, and that same year his only son was born. Their mother sent Floris and her sisters Cassandra and Ellyn to court to pay homage to the new king and attend his coronation, escorted by their grandfather, Lord Royce Caron.

Princess Jaehaera Targaryen traveled with them, having spent the war years sheltered at Storm's End. Once in the capital, the sisters attended the wedding of young Aegon III to the princess.

A year later, Floris was betrothed to Lord Thaddeus Rowan, lord of Goldengrove, an affable, good-humored man who had already been widowed twice. Upon marrying him she became stepmother to the four younger Rowan children still living at the castle.

Floris died in childbirth at Goldengrove in 134 AC.

Of the Four Storms, Floris was held to be the fairest. She is described as an affable young woman, though somewhat frivolous.
