Axel Baratheon

Axel Baratheon was born the firstborn son of Lord Orys Baratheon and Lady Argella Durrandon, the pair who founded House Baratheon at Storm's End. He came into the world only two years after the new house was established, making him its first heir.

Little else survives about him: Grand Maester Malleon remembered him as dark-haired and brown-eyed, of sturdy build, with strong bone and sinew, and the chronicles also link him to his marriage to Alanna Penrose.

Axel was born at Storm's End in the year 2 after the Conquest, the first son of Lord Orys Baratheon and Lady Argella Durrandon. With him began the succession of the newly settled house, ruling lands once held by the Durrandons.

Grand Maester Malleon remembered him as dark-haired and brown-eyed, of sturdy build, with strong bone and sinew. In the year 20 he took Alanna Penrose as his wife.

Alanna's dishonor

In the year 44, at Gallowsgrey, Ser Steffon Trant dishonored Alanna Penrose, Axel's wife. Axel answered by challenging him to a duel.

He lost the duel and died there. His name, together with his family's, was recorded in Lineages and Histories of the Great Houses of the Seven Kingdoms, in the section devoted to House Umber.

Wikidata la afirma sin matiz porque el dato llega invertido desde la lista de hijos (P40) y ese camino no lee la anotacion. Se registra como duda y no como enlace de parentesco: si Aerion fuera su padre, Orys seria hijo bastardo suyo, porque Aerion estaba casado con Valaena Velaryon, madre de Aegon I, Visenya y Rhaenys. Publicar la paternidad y negar la bastardia a la vez era incoherente
