Barris Hightower
Barris Hightower led House Hightower in Oldtown, and with it held every title of that lordship: Voice of Oldtown, Lord of the Port, Lord of the Light, Defender of the Citadel, and Beacon of the South.
He is remembered chiefly for a religious act: he was the one who placed the first crystal crown in the hands of the Faith's High Septon.

The crystal crown

As Triston Hightower's son, Barris inherited the lordship of Oldtown, becoming its Voice and taking charge of the city's port and lighthouse. As head of his house he also held the defense of the Citadel and the title of Beacon of the South.
His name became tied to the Faith of the Seven through a single act: he handed the High Septon the first crystal crown the office ever wore.
