Damon Hightower, known as the Devout, was Lord of Oldtown and head of House Hightower.

He is remembered as the first of his line to embrace the Faith of the Seven, a religious turn that left its mark on the city he ruled.

Conversion to the Faith

Damon was the first lord of his house to accept the Faith of the Seven, a change that marked his rule over Oldtown.

To honor those gods he had a sept raised in the old town of the city, and six more built across the rest of his domains.

Death

Damon's devotion did not grant him a long life: he died young, stricken by an illness of the belly.
