Bryndon Hightower
Bryndon Hightower was a knight of House Hightower, cousin to Lord Ormund Hightower, and one of the most renowned men-at-arms Oldtown produced in his time.
He fought in the Dance of the Dragons defending his cousin, and died at the battle of Bitterbridge trying to protect him.

Bryndon belonged to House Hightower and was a close relative of Lord Ormund Hightower, whom he served as a household knight.
He was regarded as the finest knight Oldtown produced in his generation, and on the battlefield he wielded a poleaxe rather than a sword.

Like the rest of his house, Bryndon sided with King Aegon II Targaryen in the Dance of the Dragons, marching with the army Lord Ormund raised for the cause.
At the battle of Bitterbridge he stood beside his cousin to shield him from the Stark forces and from Lord Roderick Dustin, lord of Barrowton. With his poleaxe he managed to cut off Dustin's arm before Dustin killed him.
