House Follard

The Follard arms divide a gyronny of twelve gules and argent, adding a canton or bearing a two-pointed jester's cap, also gules and argent. Their words, None so Wise, gesture at some notion of wit or good sense that no chronicle develops beyond the phrase itself.

The sigil and the words are, in practice, everything that has come down about this house, and both come from semi-canonical sources rather than the novels. As vassals of House Baratheon of King's Landing, the Follards would have been part of the web of minor families upholding that house's power in the Crownlands, though no record survives of any particular member, seat, or dated episode.
