Brandon Stark, known as the Burner, was King in the North and Lord of Winterfell, head of House Stark after his father was lost at sea.

Brandon took the throne after his father, King Brandon the Navigator, tried to sail across the Sunset Sea and was never seen again.

In the wake of that loss, he had the entire fleet burned. The act gave him the name he is remembered by and left the North without any naval force.
