Not to be confused with Stark.
Stark was the second son of Lord Rickard Stark and Lady Gilliane Glover, younger brother of Cregan Stark, Lord of Winterfell. Little is recorded of his life, yet his memory carried unexpected weight in the North's history: years later, the resemblance Lord Cregan found between him and Prince Jacaerys Velaryon shaped the welcome Jacaerys received at Winterfell.

Cregan StarkStark was born the second son of Lord Rickard Stark and Lady Gilliane Glover, after his elder brother Cregan, who would inherit Winterfell and the title of Warden of the North.
He died in 119 AC, the cause unrecorded.

The brother Jacaerys brought to Cregan's mind

Jacaerys VelaryonTen years after his death, in 129 AC, Prince Jacaerys Velaryon came to Winterfell to ask the North to support his mother's claim to the Iron Throne. Lord Cregan Stark took to him at once.
According to Grand Maester Munkun's True Telling, that closeness came from the young prince reminding Cregan of the brother he had lost.
