Cynda Lannister

Cynda Lannister never appears on screen: she is known only through what her son, Ser Alton Lannister, tells Ser Jaime Lannister about her during a conversation held in the War of the Five Kings.

She is a character exclusive to the television series; no character by that name exists in the A Song of Ice and Fire novels.

Held prisoner at a Stark camp, Ser Alton Lannister talks with Ser Jaime Lannister and tells him his mother's name is Cynda. Jaime cannot place her and asks if she was the fat one; Alton admits she has put on some weight over the years, and Jaime replies that he only remembers one fat Lannister.

Shortly after that conversation, Jaime kills Alton in an attempt to escape the camp. It is the only mention Cynda ever receives.
