House Doggett
Casa Doggett
House Doggett was a minor family of the Westerlands, sworn to the Lannisters of Casterly Rock. No record survives of what castle it held as its seat, and almost everything known about it comes down to a single episode: the fire that destroyed its seat during the reign of Maegor I Targaryen.
Sources that are not fully regarded as canonical give it a shield split on the diagonal, with a black raven on a white field on one side and a white unicorn on a green field on the other.
Chapter 1
The side of the Faith

When the Faith Militant rose against the Iron Throne, House Doggett sided with the Seven rather than the Crown. That loyalty put it in the path of Maegor I Targaryen, and with him, of the fire of his dragon Balerion.
Chapter 2
Balerion's flames

The Doggett castle was the last settlement in the Westerlands that Maegor I burned to ashes with Balerion's fire. Nothing was left standing of its halls and stables.
Ser Joffrey Doggett's father and mother died in the blaze, along with his younger sister and every sworn sword and servant the house had.
