Tion Lannister

Ser Tion Lannister was the second son of Lord Gerold Lannister and Lady Rohanne Webber, and became heir to Casterly Rock after the death of his elder twin brother, Tywald.

His name became tied to an unexpected marriage: he ended up wedding Ellyn Reyne, the woman who had been betrothed to Tywald, in the same ceremony where his brother Tytos married Jeyne Marbrand.

Chapter 1

The unexpected heir

Tion was born second among the children of Lord Gerold Lannister and Lady Rohanne Webber, after his twin brother Tywald. Two younger brothers followed, Tytos and Jason.

Tion's place in the line of succession changed in 233 AC, when Tywald died during the Peake Rebellion. Overnight, Tion became the heir to Casterly Rock.

Chapter 2

His brother's betrothed

Two years after Tywald's death, in 235 AC, Tion was betrothed to Lord Rowan's daughter. It was Ellyn Reyne, the woman who had been set to marry his twin brother, who persuaded him to marry her instead.

Lord Gerold did not welcome the idea at first. He came around after Tion told him that Tywald's last words had been, "Take care of Lady Ellyn." With his blessing, Tion and Ellyn were wed in the same ceremony where Tytos, another of Gerold's sons, married Jeyne Marbrand.

Chapter 3

The Antler Bridge

A year after his wedding, in 236 AC, Tion died at the Battle of the Antler Bridge.
