In 133 AC, Queen Jaehaera Targaryen died in King's Landing. The Hand of the King, Lord Unwin Peake, moved quickly to put forward his own daughter for the empty seat beside Aegon III, but the proposal met resistance from much of the nobility, who began putting forward candidates of their own.
From Casterly Rock, Lady Johanna Westerling set aside her campaign against the Ironborn long enough to write to the Hand, pointing out that her daughters Cerelle and Tyshara were maidens of noble birth and of an age to marry.
Tyshara's candidacy came to nothing: not long after, a stableboy was found in her bed. She claimed he had climbed through her window uninvited, but Grand Maester Munkun examined her and found that her maidenhead was no longer intact.
