Casa Kyndall
House Kyndall is a noble family of the Westerlands, sworn to House Lannister of Casterly Rock.
Its origin goes back to the Andal invasion, when the Kings of the Rock chose to marry into the invaders' families rather than keep fighting them.

When the Andals arrived in the Westerlands, the Kings of the Rock did not simply resist the invasion: they looked for a way to absorb it. They married their children to the newcomers, turning former enemies into kin.
House Kyndall emerged from that policy of marriage alliances, and has remained a vassal of House Lannister of Casterly Rock ever since.
