House Turnberry
Casa Turnberry
House Turnberry is a minor noble house of the Westerlands, sworn to House Lannister of Casterly Rock. Nothing records when it was founded, and it has no seat of its own; its blazon — nine strawberries on a silver saltire, over a field of vairy in point, vert and gules — comes from a semi-canonical source.
What survives of its members comes down to a couple of scattered episodes: a banner among many, and a name that surfaced under torture.
Chapter 1
The banner and the name under torture
Books only
Among the banners the western houses sent to Tywin Lannister's funeral procession on its way back to Casterly Rock rode that of House Turnberry, one more sigil folded into the region's escort.
One member of the line surfaces for a different reason: the Blue Bard, broken under torture, named Ser Lambert Turnberry among those he gave up.
Chapter 2
Qyburn's prisoner
Books only
After that betrayal, Qyburn keeps him locked in one of his dungeons.
Beyond those two episodes, the record says nothing more about House Turnberry or its service to the Lannisters of Casterly Rock.
